Cogan was a tiger in his school play. About a month after Halloween we were told that he needed to be dressed up as a tiger for this play. I searched high and low for a tiger costume that would not cost an arm and a leg. Considering that he was only going to wear this costume once I decided to get creative. I am NOT a very creative person. Along with trying to be creative I also thought I would try and be cost efficient. Try to get something that could be used again. I set out to find an orange sweat pant and top combo. Considering how much UT stuff there is around here I thought this would be easy. WRONG. Yes, there was a TON of UT stuff all burnt orange and perfect...but it was EXPENSIVE! I then changed my mind and decided to find a black combo. DONE. Then I decided to put orange stripes with tape all around his body. Cute, but not perfect. Then, my mom and I decided to make a tail. Used my moms old panty hose and stuffed them and pinned them to his jacket. Then, grandma made ears to safety pin to the hood of the jacket. Finally we decided to paint his face! He LOVED every minute of this! He was so excited to go to school he woke up at 5 am. I think he ended up being the CUTEST tiger EVER!
